1. Acceptance
By accessing Tap This, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
You may use supported email, password, secure email link or third-party sign-in methods. Connecting another sign-in method to an existing account does not create a separate Tap This profile when the connection is completed through the account settings provided.
3. Profiles, QR codes and NFC tags
You control the information you add to a Tap This profile. When you publish a profile, anyone with its link, QR code or NFC tag may view the published information.
You must have the right to publish all names, images, contact details, links and other content you upload. Do not publish unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or harmful content, or information about another person without appropriate permission.
A physical tag provides access to online information and depends on a compatible device, an internet connection and continued service availability. NFC performance can vary by device and placement. The printed QR code is intended as an alternative access method.
4. Orders and custom products
Product descriptions, prices and availability are shown before checkout. An order is accepted when we confirm it. We may contact you if production details are incomplete or an item cannot be supplied.
Many Tap This products are personalised or made to your specifications. Please check names, colours, quantities, profile assignments and delivery details before ordering. Changes may not be possible after production begins.
5. Payments, subscriptions and renewals
Payments are processed through the payment options shown at checkout. Prices are displayed in South African rand unless stated otherwise.
If you choose a recurring plan, the price and billing period shown at purchase apply until you cancel or the plan changes. We will provide notice of material pricing changes where required. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not normally reverse a period already paid for, subject to applicable consumer law.
6. Delivery, cancellations and returns
Delivery estimates are estimates and may be affected by production, courier or address delays. Risk in physical goods passes as provided by applicable law.
Contact info@tapthis.co.za as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Customised goods may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return once production has started, but this does not limit any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
If an item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from what was agreed, contact us with the order number and supporting details so we can assess the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Tap This, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, distribute malware, scrape the service at unreasonable scale, impersonate another person, evade security controls or use profiles and tags for unlawful activity.
8. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, process, display and deliver that content only as needed to operate and improve Tap This.
The Tap This service, brand, software, layouts, graphics and original content remain owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you.
9. Third-party services
Tap This relies on third-party services such as payment processors, authentication providers, cloud platforms, couriers and links selected by profile owners. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party websites you choose to visit.
10. Availability and account action
We work to keep Tap This available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events and provider outages may temporarily affect the service.
We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tap This is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by content you publish, incompatible devices, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control. Any limitation is subject to applicable law and the facts of the claim.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the updated date and provide additional notice where a material change requires it. Continued use after an effective update means the revised terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts with jurisdiction in South Africa may hear disputes, subject to any consumer right to use another lawful forum.
